Therapeutic Day Treatment Services to children/adolescents
Avenues To Success treats children between the ages of 3 and 17 who have a mental health diagnosis. The Day Treatment Program is provided within the school setting in sessions of two to six hours per day in order to provide therapeutic interventions. ATS works on the same calendar year as the school system.
Qualified Professionals provide daily therapeutic groups focused on problem solving, self-esteem, social awareness, expression of feelings, goal setting, pro-social skills, and anger management. The Qualified Professionals also provide individual sessions addressing specific behavioral goals.
Each child's person-centered plan is developed to meet the individual needs of the child. Goals are developed in collaboration with the ATS staff, the child, school representatives, other identified professionals, and the parent; in order to insure that the emotional and behavioral difficulties of each child are being addressed and appropriate goals are set. ATS also has a summer program to continue the continuity of care.
